The seminar was well organized by the Peace Corps in collaboration with Rural Development Foundation (RDF) and since the native language was used, the knowledge that the volunteer wanted to give out to the participants was well understood since all the participants understood the local language.
It was really an interactive seminar with the use of charts and sketches to better explain the concept.
The two day seminar ended with the award of certificates for those who successfully completed the workshop. Most of the participants left the seminar happy as peer educators and are strongly willing to go out and share the knowledge with their peers in order to build a better community free of corruption and all the negative aspects that could bring down a community and focus on those aspects of the community that will foster development.
In a nutshell, all the participants I contacted gave a very BIG THANKS TO THE PEACE CORPS AND RDF for sacrificing their time, energy and money to come and share out knowledge for the sake of development.
Thanks and best regards.
Ismaila Musa.
